After 3 years of usage of a Dreambox 7025 I decided to buy a new HD decode and my choice goes to Kathrein ... but ... now no 910 available anymore !! I have to opt for a 912 !
I don't find forums about this new hardware! Will it be supported by the team that supports 910?
What are the advantages of buying an 912 in stead of a 910?

I regret not having taken my decision 2 aor 3 month ago !!!

As of today the documentation for the 912 is only available in german and I must admin that I don't unµderstand everything ?

Is the 912 to be considered as the real evolution of the 910? with an equivalent quality?

Can you help me in my decision ?

My personal recommendation - find from aftermarket or from some shop (maybe even on Internet) one UFS 910 and go with it.
There is no any advantage of buying UFS 912 instead of UFS 910.
And for UFS 910 there is finally lot of good software available, but receiver production is finished

Vice versa - Kathrein got a lot unexpected problems with UFS 910 (it was too good design,better than any Dreambox, but no software support from Kathrein at all),
and now UFS 912 is designed to eliminate all these "unnecessary" problems... There is even no serial port (RS232) any more...

u can get serial connection through the RJ12-Port from what i've read .... UFS 912 has better hardware but isnt supported yet (some patches are already in the git, but far from beeing finished i guess)
