the good sign - at present any more does not go updating of the software and the list of channels from the satellite, means, in the near future it is necessary to expect new, final updating of the software from the satellite.

An official information from the Kathrein - finals software-version 2.01 released in early September.

Official message from Kathrein:

UFS 910/UFS 902 Final Firmware
A new and final firmware – Version 2.01 – will prospectively be released for the DVBS-
Receiver UFS 910 to the beginning of September over satellite and internet.
The Beta-Version 2.00 had been made available at short notice on the 13.08.09 as a
‚final software Version 2.00‘ as ARD + ZDF wanted to start with the extended GOP
transmission on the 15.08.09.
Tests showed that when both firmware and programme lists were downloaded
together that some receivers could block completely so we decided against releasing
the firmware via satellite. The firmware solving the reported SW bugs was simply not
suitable for release.
In the meantime we have also taken the firmware from our homepage too, as
individual reports came in on problems occuring with individual receivers.
A firmware update back to the Version 1.06 die though always solve the problem.
The above mentioned is also valid for the UFS 902.
As ARD and ZDF did not start their extended GOP transmission no new firmware
was required to cover recording and replaying – the Version 1.06 was still sufficient
to cover day to day usage.
As soon as the new firmware for the UFS 910/UFS 902 is available we will inform
you immediately.
