Ok I know this is the UFS910 forum but I wonder if there are any forums other than German ones (I do not speak any German) for the UFS922? Is there any development in the same way as the UFS910 has had I wonder? From my use of the UFS922 after the latest upgrade (Feb 2010) received over the saterllite this box works fine now with the factory image. The HD images are outstanding better than I have seen on any of the Dreamboxes and also any other software that has been available to other Linux boxes. The only problem is the flexability of these boxes under the factory images. Does anyone have any suggestions, other than buy a new box of another manufacture which you might think is better.....

There is a massive 500 GB HDD inside of Kathrein UFS 922, why not to use this?
And very positive point is that also original image will be possible to use, if necessary
But unfortunately for installation instructions there is definitely need to get understanding/translation of AAF forum German language pages

I would recommend to use MPI v1.9 as a installation tool.
