Please don't get me wrong
They never test with Thor satellite, what is completely differently transmitting compared with Astra 19,2E; 23,5E - what are main and only known orbital positions for AAF team.
SR 30000 is absolutely not recognized for them as well. This is simply not existing in "real world" .
We can "say thanks" to our Nordic SAT operator about that, but this is another issue.

However, latest images do not record and sometimes even do not show on screen correctly Canal+ Nordic HD channels and SVT HD.

BUT... AAF Easter image is OK for me, AAF WM2010 rev2 is total bullshit on the same equipment.
Just today I installed (for fun) latest RSP e2 image - exactly the same problem with Thor HD recording (no recording, just freezing and squaring).
So meanwhile they have somewhere/somehow screwed up something in new e2 image - but no one care...

And why to care, if German things are OK???

I have not found problem on thor,but I have not tried recording. Will try and let you know.

I read somewhere that recording works in AAF if you format as ext2.

Got a new 1Tb USB HDD yesterday, and re-installed everything ie. BA and latest RSP image in one partition, AAF V2 in another, everything is installed on the HDD and the RECORD partition is ext2 format.

What i've tried so far is fine, as an experiment for Henkka, i tuned into Nova HD on 1w as its in the clear and recorded 5 mins of it, all seemed to be fine when playing it back. I don't have any emus loaded at present and as previously stated the record partition is ext2. This was using RSP image, the AAF image didn't have 1w in the bouquets.

The AAF Image didn't mount the correct partition for recording, although i then discovered that the partition which it did mount had an empty movie directory in it (which i didn't create manually) - deleted it and rebooted and it mounted the correct partition.
