1st Dutch HD satellite channels |

| Great news for Dutch viewers, because the Dutch Satellite Operator Canal Digitaal will launch its 1st HD channels in April this year. |
CanalDigitaal launches its HD channels for the Netherlands at the European ASTRA satellite positioned at 23.5 degrees east. 2 HD channels are already known: National Geographic HD & Discovery HD (an obvious choice) There are still negotiations with the Dutch Classic Music Channel BravaHDTV which is already available at some cable networks.
The 1st month the HD package will be available to all Canal Digitaal subscribers, after that period viewers can subscribe at 9,95 Euros a month, the HD package will also contain the already available channels from the existing theme-package. |
